Congratulations to all of the staff for a successful retreat this past weekend. Friday afternoon began with work sessions designed to help prepare for band camp and freshman camp in August. The equipment crew organized the stadium storage area and inventoried instruments, the uniform crew examined all uniforms and prepared them for summer storage, the music librarians continued the process of filing pep band music and preparing for next fall, the historian staff worked on assembling all alumni information, and web masters worked to get even more information on the web site. Special thanks go out to the staff coordinators for their work in organizing all of the leadership sessions this spring, to Jared Morgan, drum majors, woodwind, brass coordinators, section leaders for working to refine our visual program, repair staff, publicists, for their efforts and to the video staff for documenting everything. Thanks to Matt Henley and Jon Henson for their special work on the show announcement.
Ron Wright, Principal of Clover HS, was a terrific speaker who brought a lot of great information to our staff. Robert Edwards, Sherri Peeler, Alan Farmer, Kathy Johnson, and Sheila and David Frizzell for serving the band at our picnic. Congratulations!
